Water Temp: Low 60s
The bite on the upper end of the river has drastically improved over the past 5 days. We are hearing about great quantities of fish being caught along with some beautiful trophy Sauger. I do not have any pictures from this week but I will get out personally this weekend and post again with the "proof"🤣.
Trolling crankbaits, jig and minnow,, Dubuque rigs, hair jigs and even blade baits are producing fish. Depths from 10 to 16 feet seem to be best.
Good luck to all of you that get out this week. Don't forget the Pool 4 Regualations. Walleyes and Sauger limit is 4 fish combined with only 1 over 20".
